Genetic sonogram is an examination that is performed in pregnant women 18 to 23 weeks of pregnancy. Fetus is seen and possible anomalies are revealed. 16 echo markers for early detection of fetal defects are examined and have a high prognostic value. There must be no deviation from the normal in any marker, and if that happens the pregnant woman is referred to diagnostic procedures.
